Wagon Train Matchmaker Christian historical romance Love on the Santa Fe Trail Book 3 edition by Linda Ford Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

  • I was hated this book. The characters got very tiresome. I have enjoyed the other books in the series and was looking forward to the third book. Don't waste your time or money on this book. All the characters do is whine about why they shouldn't get married and Polly whines about why they should. I couldn't finish the book. What a waste of time and money.
  • I am enjoying the series so far and plan on finishing it. This particular story, to me, is about a spoiled little girl wanting to get her way. While I can understand her reasons, I found her actions questionable.
  • The third book in this series is as good as the others I am now starting book four. You need to read this series on family, problems, children and love.!!
  • Am loving this series. Just when all the single women found spouses another comes along to continue the series. I just bought the last book in the series to read today and I think I'm gonna like Sophie/Greta as much as the other characters. Can't wait to see where everybody ends up in this final book.
  • Good Book
  • This is the third book in a series about a group of people traveling on a Wagon Train. I enjoyed the first two stories for the most part, and the characters are all well written, but this one was very slow. The 2 main characters spent more time adamantly refusing to consider marriage than they did conversing about anything other than Polly, the young girl that Warren would now raise. It was very frustrating to me that both Mary Mae and Warren held onto their stubbornness and inflexibility until almost the end of the story. And it seems a repeat of many of Linda Ford's stories - either one or both main characters have been hurt in the past, and refuse to let it go. Gets rather tiresome after a while. Polly was just a brat most of the time. I can't believe someone brought up in the manner that she was would be so self-centered. She almost got herself, Mary Mae and Warren killed, and for punishment has to remain in the wagon for a day. Then she complains and whines the whole time, blaming it on the adults. The girl needed more than a "time out" for a day! She was hard to get to like. If you enjoyed the first 2 books, you'll want to read this continuation. But for me, the first 2 stories were far better than this one.
  • Linda Ford has such talent for developing her book’s characters that you really feel you know them. When this book came out and I read the description and saw that Polly’s Uncle Sam dies in the book, my heart broke. And when I read it- well, be sure to have a couple boxes of Kleenex ready! This story is so amazing, and can be so relevant to struggles we face today. The lessons I’m it transcend time. We all want to be loved for who we are, and not just an obligation. Polly’s antics help bring some lightheartedness to the story to balance the grief over the loss of her uncle. Can’t wait for the final book to be released!!!
  • A very enjoyable event filled story about a young lady who had been let by her intended she joined a Wagon Train heading west with her sister and her husband. A n accident left a child orphaned that clung to her and a man heading west as well. She wanted a family. A must read for those who enjoy historical western romance kindle books from at a special price and from a delightful author who keeps me entertained throughout the entire book before putting it down. Enjoyed this book.
